Anzac Biscuits!

In celebration of all our learning about Anzac Day Room 14 made some Anzac biscuits! We had to work together in groups to carefully follow the recipe's instructions, to make sure our Anzac biscuits would taste delicious!

We started off like all good bakers- washing our hands and studying our ingredients.
We learnt about using different measurement units like tsp, Tbsp, cup and grams. We discovered how helpful the measurement lines on the butter are- each line shows 50g!
We were a little bit nervous and excited at the same time, waiting for our biscuits to bake!

Everyone's batch of Anazac biscuits turned out beautifully and boy did they taste good too!
Have you made Anzac Biscuits before? Did you know that the real Anzac biscuits eaten by soldiers during the war were actually ginger nuts?
